Beginning 15th March 2017, Kushan LLC will have its class of students enrolled in the Pharmacy Technician program. Classes will be taught online, along with practical off-campus externships. Our Pharmacy Technician program combines relevant online classroom study and hands-on experience.

What Does a Pharmacy Technician Do?

Pharmacy technicians help licensed pharmacists dispense prescription medications to patients or health professionals.

  • Prepare medication for prescriptions
  • Package and label prescriptions
  • Accept payment for prescriptions and process insurance claims
  • Enter patient information, including any prescriptions taken, into a computer system
  • Prepare IV solutions
  • Interview patients to get drug and allergy information
